My Wonder |
I wonder where She is now this day
I have not heard from her in any way
I trust God to know the truth on the suns ray
I am curious if her love does stay
All covered in white while her brown eyes show
I wonder oh I wonder if she will ever know
What my lips would feel like in the morn
Where feelings end up so ever torn
This space without any of her words
Grows far apart from where we were
If She still wants me to hold her in my arms
Away from all the pain close to all her charms
I miss her words as I sit and type the letter
I will send it on it's way with nary a thought that is better
For should God really want Her here
She will write me letters from far or near
And when I am old and still all alone
I will remember being chilled to the bone
When once we had God between us and trusted from afar
Now I wonder where we really are
|
